The term ‘quality care’ can be a regarded as a buzz word in the health care industry.
At PhysioFit we go beyond just ‘saying’ we are committed to the philosophy of quality care. We try to define ‘what counts’ as tangible factors in delivering quality care and as team we set about to ensure their delivery.
From a patient’s perspective this includes things like how easy it is to deal with the clinic when making appointments or having good relationships with their clinicians. Patients want access to good information which is easy to understand and comprehend. And things like patient safety and patient confidentiality are also a high priority.
We also believe that patients put great value on having a continuity in care and faith that the person who is treating them is technically competent, proficient and kind. These are all tangible factors that we as an organization work to ensure we deliver on.
From the clinic’s perspective delivering quality care is about having the right people, processes and infrastructure. We have processes in place which ensure that high standards run across all our departments – whether this is a process to ensure clear and transparent billings or the management of our patient bookings.
